Driving across Georgia, Tennesse, Kentucky, Illinois, Missouri, Iowa, Nebraska, and South Dakota was an unique experience. We saw plenty of corn fields and soy bean fields, mass amounts of cattle, and every so often a gas station or service plaza. The beauty of the land was amazing and often I was overwhelmed by the vastness of it all. It took me back to a time when technology was not the driving force behind everything, where peace and quiet surrounded you. Although I joked about the amount of corn we drove through (and many of those jokes were quite corny-could not resist) everywhere I looked, I saw God's touch.
